I remember listening to “Proud Mary” growing up, I always got so excited when I heard it- the energy was so contagious and the smiles in her voice, amazing.
I played now, while I drew this in Photoshop. It’s been a long while since I played it last. I sat for a bit. Looking at this drawing. The shift, of her gone, changed the feeling of being on Earth. Some people do that, you can feel their presence, and the edges of their absence.
She’s been one of my earliest inspirations for how to Sparkle brighter.
